The KVMRT 2 (Kuala Lumpur MRT Line 2), also known as the Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya Line, is a major infrastructure development aimed at improving public transportation in the Kuala Lumpur metropolitan area. Spanning approximately 52 kilometers with 36 stations, the line connects key residential, commercial, and governmental districts, including Sungai Buloh, Serdang, and Putrajaya. Designed to be a modern, driverless, and fully automated system, KVMRT 2 features both underground and elevated tracks, enhancing accessibility and reducing traffic congestion. The project is part of Malaysia’s broader vision to promote sustainable urban mobility, reduce emissions, and stimulate economic growth. Its construction involves complex engineering, especially for underground sections, and incorporates advanced signaling and smart features for a seamless commuting experience. Expected to be operational by 2027, KVMRT 2 is set to transform regional connectivity, improve quality of life, and support Malaysia’s urban development goals.

LRT 3

The LRT 3 project is a major light rail transit development aimed at alleviating traffic congestion and improving public transportation in the Klang Valley region. Spanning approximately 37 kilometers, the LRT 3 line will connect Bandar Utama in Petaling Jaya to Klang, passing through key residential and commercial areas. The line is designed to feature modern, driverless trains operating on an elevated track system, offering a reliable and efficient transit option for daily commuters. The project emphasizes sustainability, incorporating eco-friendly construction practices and energy-efficient trains. It also aims to enhance regional connectivity, reduce dependency on road vehicles, and promote urban development along its corridor. Expected to be completed within a few years, the LRT 3 will serve as a crucial component of Malaysia’s integrated public transportation network, providing residents with a convenient, safe, and environmentally friendly transit alternative.
