Hirschmann Managed OCTOPUS Ethernet IP67/IP65 Switches
The OCTOPUS Family of managed switches provide IP65/67 waterproof and dust-tight protection as well as ratings for on-board rail, fire protection in trains, railway line use, ship use, and road vehicle use. For high bandwidth applications, the Full Gigabit Managed versions comes equipped with full Gigabit Ethernet capability on all ports. Some versions support Power over Ethernet (PoE). NOTE: Belden will discontinue OCTOPUS Classic variants of Hirschmann Classic Software Switches. The LAST ORDER DATE is 31 December 2023. Newer models of these switches are available running the state-of-the-art Hirschmann Operating System HiOS. These switches are drop-in replacements for their Classic Software based equivalents.
